Need
peace?Are you worried?
Are you afraid, confused, and stressed out? We all get that way sometimes. Here
are some verses that I've compiled together that I go to when I feel this way.
This is what God has to say to us about this. It's very comforting to me and I
hope to you as well. It turns my perspective on the situation around. What's the
worst thing that could happen? I could die I guess, is what I thought one day.
Well, that wouldn't be so bad after all as I would then be with God forevermore.
Ha! I guess I don't really have anything to worry about after all! John 14:1-3
14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also
in me. 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not
so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And
if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto
myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. 1 Peter 5 5:6 Humble
yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in
due time; 5:7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for
you. John 14:27 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be fearful. John 16:33 These things have I spoken
unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but
be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Matthew 6:25-34 6:25 Therefore
I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more
than the food, and the body than the raiment? 6:26 Behold the birds
of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns;
and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they?
6:27 And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure
of his life? 6:28 And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider
the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
6:29 yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these. 6:30 But if God doth so clothe the grass of the
field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not
much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith? 6:31 Be not therefore
anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal
shall we be clothed? 6:32 For after all these things do the Gentiles
seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
6:33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you. 6:34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow:
for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil
thereof. Matthew 10:28-31 10:28 And be not afraid of them that kill
the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able
to destroy both soul and body in hell. 10:29 Are not two sparrows
sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your
Father: 10:30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
10:31 Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew
11:28-30 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of
me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Nahum 1:7 1:7 Jehovah
is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that take
refuge in him. Proverbs 1:33 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me
shall dwell securely, And shall be quiet without fear of evil. Proverbs
3:5 3:5 Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine
own understanding: Romans 8:5 8:5 For they that are after the
flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the
things of the Spirit. The book of Psalms is a great place to go when you're

foes, they stumbled and fell. 27:3 Though a host should encamp against
me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will
I be confident. 27:4 One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I
seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life,

of thy heart. 37:5 Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him,
and he will bring it to pass. 37:6 And he will make thy righteousness
to go forth as the light, And thy justice as the noon-day. 37:7 Rest
in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who
prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

to evil-doing. 37:28 For Jehovah loveth justice, And forsaketh not his saints;
They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 37:39 But
the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah; He is their stronghold in the
time of trouble. 40:1 I waited patiently for Jehovah; And he inclined unto
me, and heard my cry. 40:2 He brought me up also out of a horrible
pit, out of the miry clay; And he set my feet upon a rock, and established
my goings. 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise
unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah.

help me, O Jehovah. 40:14 Let them be put to shame and confounded
together That seek after my soul to destroy it: Let them be turned backward
and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt. 40:15 Let them
be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha. 40:16 Let
all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: Let such as love thy
salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified. 40:17 But I am poor
