Dave has been writing songs since 1979. He is the founder of www.christiansongwriting.org and www.writingsongs.com Writing songs has been a joy and interest of Dave's all his life. In the early 80's he spent his time playing in quite a few bands that played at many bars, festivals, concerts and clubs in the Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania area. Dave has taught guitar lessons at many YMCA's schools and music stores in his 20 + years of playing guitar. He has written a book on songwriting entitled "Songwriting Fundamentals." In 1989 Dave made a decision he would pursue gospel music after giving his life to God and making some "life decisions." His desire was to combine his love for God and his love for music. The 1990's found him a business owner where he moved from Ohio to Pennsylvania. In 2000 he sold his 5 store retail business and moved back to Ohio to operate his online business www.dcmusicstore.com Dave also opened the music store DC Music which he currently operates in Ohio. He is the author of the book entitled "Songwriting Fundamentals." Dave has been recording music since the day he began writing in 1979. He has several CD's of his music available. He is very happily married to Christine and they have 3 of the coolest kids on the planet and reside in western Ohio.
